The widely unpopular Northern Turnpike Extension will drain our state’s tax dollar coffers and inflict irreversible environmental harm.. 

Why do you oppose the roads to ruin?

Do you live in a community that is on the frontlines of the Northern Turnpike Extension study area where the roads are proposed to be built? Let your local elected know that you want them to tell FDOT “no build” is the only option!  #NOBUILD.

We want to hear your story! We have made it easy!  

Here is the idea:  You record a short video and we will share it on our social media platforms.  We can work together to send a loud and clear message to local electeds. 

Just follow these instructions:

• Set your camera / phone to record in landscape orientation with minimal background noise. We recommend that your video be 30-60 seconds long.
• Record and upload your story! 
  • Express why you don’t want to see Florida’s environment, quality of life, and the special places that matter to you destroyed by the roads to ruin 
  • Share why we need to stop the roads to ruin (e.g. the Norther Turnpike Extension)
  • Use a  photogenic background! Do you have a special treasured place you want to see protected and not paved over? Record your video there to show legislators how they can help save the real Florida.
  • Be sure to demand the “NO BUILD” option!
